Ki-Sal Receives Carbon Footprint Calculated Certificate
The Finland Chamber of Commerce has granted Ki-Sal Oy the Carbon Footprint Calculated certificate for 2025. The certificate confirms that we have calculated our scope 1 & 2 emissions in accordance with the international GHG Protocol -covering our direct emissions as well as purchased energy, such as electricity and district heating.
Ki-Sal’s scope 1 & 2 emissions are 5 t CO2e. This calculation is an important first step, and to build a more complete picture, we will also begin scope 3 calculations in autumn 2026, covering the indirect emissions of our value chain. This will enable us to set concrete emission reduction targets.
Ki-Sal participates in the Finland Chamber of Commerce Climate Programme, which supports SMEs in launching climate work and calculating their carbon footprint. Through the programme, we have completed our calculation and gained practical tools to continue our climate work.
