Recycling Fees for 2026
Ki-Sal’s recycling fees for 2026 are based on the price list of the producer responsibility organisation Sumi Oy. Ki-Sal Oy is a customer of Sumi, and we apply their recycling fee price list as such.
The new recycling fees will come into effect on 1 January 2026. The fees will be automatically added to invoices and will continue to be shown clearly on separate lines, based on the material and the weight of the product.

In Finland, producer responsibility is a statutory obligation for companies that place packaging on the market. Companies are required to organise the waste management of their packaging and cover the related costs as required by law. In practice, this means that the collection, transport and recycling of packaging are financed through recycling fees, which are determined by the material and the weight of the packaging.
